Beating the Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)

Before your resume reaches the hands of a live person, it will likely pass through an Applicant Tracking System (ATS), a piece of software that analyses your resume for certain keywords and gives you a score based on how well your resume matches a predetermined set of criteria chosen by the hiring company or recruiter.
At CandidateOne we use the same technology most employers use to screen resumes. Your resume will be keyword optimised and tested to perform well in these scans.
How it works
Send us your current documents
Once you've placed your order, you send us your existing CV or the information required to write one from scratch.
Your CandidateOne consultant will contact you to let you know everything they need, and to schedule your discovery session.
Discovery session with your consultant
Your discovery session will be either a phone or video-chat consultation, where your consultant will dive deeper into your work history, career achievements, skills, and ambitions to ensure that these are accurately portrayed on your new CV.
Composing the narrative
Your consultant will begin crafting your new CV, refreshing the tone, syntax, visuals and style. They will ensure that your CV is keyword targeted and represents your value to potential employers.
Revisions & Editing
Your consultant will send you a rough draft of your new CV within 7 days of your discovery session.
You will have another 7 days to let us know if any changes are required and we will work with you to make revisions until you sign off.
ATS Scanning & Signoff
Your consultant will do a final scan of your resume using ATS technology and advise you of any last minute changes.
We will send you final PDF and .docx versions of your new professional documents. You are now ready to become Candidate #1.
